In 2006 Jade Projects set itself a goal to construct a beautifully designed demonstration home that would incorporate sustainability, affordability and usability. The result, the Jade 707, a seven-star brick home went on to win State and National Awards in 2007.
The Jade 707 was developed as the leading edge model of sustainable housing, designed according to passive solar principles the home is energy and water efficient and also adopted universal design principles. Incorporating a flexible design that can be adapted in future years to suit changing lifestyles and respond to the need to provide a high level of comfort to its owners.
