Jade
2010
The Jade 2010 Sustainable Office, the new offices of Jade Projects, is a Class 5, 450m² commercial office building that has been independently rated as carbon neutral with a saving of 124% each year.
At the inception of this project it was our aim to prove small office accommodation could be highly sustainable, energy efficient and affordable, while challenging the traditional thought that adopting ‘green’ into projects of this type added exponential costs, a barrier to investors and potential tenants.
The Jade 2010 Sustainable Office successfully proved, with careful planning and technical know-how, this type of office product can exceed the mandatory credentials for energy efficiency established in the BCA, and achieve high outputs of sustainability, offer quality inclusions, be affordable, and more importantly, is repeatable.
Designed using the fundamentals of solar passive design to maximise the natural environmental elements, the Jade 2010 ensures as many construction materials as possible have low energy demands during manufacturing whilst having high regard for static materials that have proven durability and recyclability and require little or no maintenance.
With the Jade 2010 being our new offices, this is just another example of Jade Projects “Building a Greener Future”.
